We begin our course with the history of each subject as it has appeared on previous certification exams. By identifying important subject areas and key topics, Becker is able to ensure that our students focus only on what they need to know to pass the exam.

During class, students work about 25 problem and essay questions and about 900 multiple choice questions. Every problem oriented question worked in class is taken from a prior certification exam. "Distracters" and "blind alleys" are identified as students read and discuss questions under the supervision of professional, experienced accounting instructors. Instructors interact heavily with students to guide them and keep them focused on relevant material. By the time you have finished, you will have worked the equivalent of four complete certification examinations in class. Becker class work is estimated to cover about 90 to 95 percent of all subject areas on the exam. Finally, students receive solutions to the problems so they can compare their answers with the correct answers and receive immediate feedback on how they are doing.

The Becker CD-ROM course gives students the same instructor-led lessons and classroom materials they would receive by attending the classroom session. Students are now able to study at their own pace in the convenience of their home, office or, for that matter, anywhere.
